GCU Scholarship Program Receives Substantial Gift from The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation

Grand Canyon University’s Students Inspiring Students (SIS) Scholarship Program has received a $500,000, five-year grant from The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation. The largest single gift in the program’s history, the grant will fund full-tuition scholarships for “Parsons Scholars” – high school seniors who are the most academically qualified among SIS recipients.

The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation, in conjunction with PXG (Parsons Xtreme Golf), provided a $2 million matching grant to Team Rubicon to support its emergency response efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Laura and Hurricane Sally. The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation Donates $2 Million to Psychedelic Research

The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation awarded $2 million to the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) in support of its campaign to advance healing for patients with treatment-resistant trauma. Inspired by his own experiences as a U.S. Marine, and personal battle with PTSD, Bob Parsons, in conjunction with other donors, raised $30 million for Phase 3 clinical trials to continue research of MDMA-assisted psychotherapy, designated by the FDA as a “Breakthrough Therapy” for PTSD.
