After returning home from the Vietnam War, Bob realized he was not the same person as before and eventually became aware of his PTSD after years of struggling. During this podcast, Parsons talks about his personal experiences with psychedelic therapy to combat PTSD and heal his trauma. Parsons is currently working with MAPS to help conduct clinical trials of MDMA-assisted therapy for FDA approval, and with Dr. Rachel Yehuda to help with PTSD research, and to train therapists to specialize in treating veterans and active-duty members with psychedelics.
The Marine infantryman still suffers from PTSD from his tour in Vietnam but credits LSD and MDMA with helping him “come home.” Now he’s on a mission to help other veterans.
Bob Parsons, the billionaire founder of GoDaddy Inc and PXG, traveled to Detroit to celebrate the grand opening of the company’s newest retail store in Troy, MI.
PXG is going back to its roots with its newest offering: GEN5 0311 flagship irons, hybrids and woods that cost almost $5,000 for a full bag of fitted clubs.
